Steiff “Baby Bear” EAN 420054 Replica “Members Only” Edition 1995 - not released to the general public. Mohair, blond, jointed, limited edition of 10,880. Complete with all tags, special original box and Certificate of Authenticity. This is a beautiful blond mohair baby, a reproduction of a 1946 Baby Bear. The original 1946 Teddy was a prototype and never put into production. This baby is stuffed with wood shavings, his nose & claws are hand stitched. His pads are cotton linen (a substitute used in 1946 instead of felt.) The unique head pattern is special – never used on any other Steiff Teddy. Brass Steiff script logo ear button with white flag. Also complete with Steiff Club 1995 porcelain medallion hanging on his neck with a gold neck ribbon. 35 cm/14 inches tall. Complete with all tags, special original box and certificate.
