Forelle - Trout. Circa 1950. Very rare antique Steiff Trout; USA exclusive manufactured in 1950. EAN 2610.90; 40 cm. Silk Plush, felt fins. Sadly, this incredible piece has been damaged and dorsal and pectoral fins have been removed. There is also some loss of silk plush in the area of the dorsal fin (see close up photos). Chest tag is still intact. Despite the tragic damage to this incredible piece - it is otherwise in very good condition; the silk plush is clean and odor free.
